The 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid has received an injection of new technology that improves the overall driver experience and makes it one of CNET Roadshow's top recommendations in the midsize hybrid sedan category. Ford's highly-rated Sync 3 infotainment system is now standard, and new driver assist functionality includes semi-autonomous parking and extended speed range for the adaptive cruise control.
The Fusion Hybrid is available in several flavors, ranging from the base Hybrid S that starts at $25,185 to the new Hybrid Platinum that comes in at $37,020. Roadshow writer Antuan Goodwin tested the Titanium version, that includes the Sync 3 system, keyless entry and start, power leather seats, styling upgrades and driver assist features. The Fusion Hybrid is EPA-rated for fuel efficiency at 42 mpg combined, or 43 mpg city and 41 mpg highway.
